Fossilized Leaves

Susan in Vancouver sent me these beautiful fossilized leaves, she had a giveaway in her blog Making Do and I was one of the lucky to get these lovely leaves.

The leaves are very, very thin and you can see all the veins in the leaves, click on the photo and you can see how beautiful they are. The leaves soaks in water for 3 weeks, brushed clean, dyed in different colours.

This week at Wednesday Stamper is to make Twinchies - 2x2 inchies. These are my four twinchies I used a stamp with a flowers from Crafty Individuals.

Temat den här veckan på Mixed Media Måndag är att "testa något nytt" som man inte provat på tidigare, så jag provade att stämpla på en ask som jag inte har provat på tidigare. Jag har använt papper och stämplar från Crafty Individuals, finns i webbutiken Hobby och Hantverk.
This week the theme at Mixed Media Monday is to “try something new”. That is completely open to your interpretation - it could be a new technique, a new medium or even a new colour.
So I tried to stamp on a box, I have not tried that before. I used paper and stamps from Crafty Individuals.

The theme this Monday at Mixed Media Monday is “pens and pencils” I used Pen and Ink clear stamp from Alpha Stamp and a quote I found on internet.
“I dip my pen in the blackest ink, because I´m not afraid of falling into my inkpot.”

Grimm Fairy Tale Swap

Alpha Stamps sagobilder som man ska använda sig av till collagen.
Jag har börjat på mina collage för en swapp som Alpha Stamps och Lenna Andrews ordnar, du kan läsa om swappen i Leena Andrews Blogg HÄR. Mina collage är inte klara men påbörjade, collagen ska vara 5”x5” och man får använda olika material - mixed media, jag har använt papper, tyg, crackle paint, nu ska det dekoreras lite med band och lite bling tror jag.
Collagen ska innehålla bilder från Alpha Stamps nya sagocollage Bröderna Grimm, jag har Askungen och Törnrosa på mina.
Jag har lagt in lite olika texter från sagorna...
Törnrosa: "Oh, you have come at last! I was waiting for you in my dream. I've waited so long!"
Askungen: "Who are you, fair maiden?" the Prince kept asking her. But Cinderella only replied: "What does it matter who I am! "

This is my collage for the Grimm swap they are not finished yet, I will put some more decoratin on them but at least I have started...
